About the event
In this workshop we will practice the ancient African art of Belly Dance by:
-going over basic dance moves with drills -incorporating exercise tips that explain how the moves strengthen the muscles and provide steps towards better flexible
-put it all together to learn a fun choreography
All dance and fitness levels welcomed!”

Originally from Florida, SaLydia has been belly dancing for 6 years. She has studied under various professional belly dancers including Texas native, international star Simon Sako. She has 5 competition titles so far since beginning to dance. She began her professional entertaining in 2018 under Mystical Goddess Belly Dance and is now teaching belly dance fitness at the San Antonio Walzem YMCA along with performing at various events such as middle eastern wedding receptions, birthday parties, showcases, recitals and more.
